An army brat who eventually settled in the Springs, Yolanda earned her bachelor's degree at Missouri's Lincoln University. She went on to obtain her J.D. from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Yolanda began her career at Pikes Peak Legal Services in 1996, and later joined the AV-rated Kane, Donley and Johnson, P.C., in 2001. She was made a partner and remained there until the practice closed in 2006.
Yolanda has served on the boards of Memorial Health System, the Pikes Peak chapter of the American Red Cross, CASA of the Pikes Peak Region, and the girl Scouts Wagon wheel Council. she currently serves on the board of the Police Foundation of Colorado Springsas well as the colorado Supreme Court's Colorado Attorney Fund for Client Protection. In 2012, she was elected president of El Paso County Bar Association, then served in 2013.
Her awards include Outstanding Woman Lawyer award, and the Molly Walker award. She was named a "woman of influence" by the Colorado Springs Business Journal in 2011 and has a superb rating with AVVO. Please call or email us today!
